The Systems Technician is the first response to any and all company related IT support needs that encompass a wide range of IT hardware and software solutions. Our Tier 1 Helpdesk staff captures general information regarding the concern, need or issue and either resolves the concern or advises and escalates the ticket as deemed necessary.

Compensation: $45,000-$50,000. In-office position.

Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
• Ability to work with ticketing systems to document all support calls
• Familiar with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites
• Flexibility with schedule as this position does require shift work
• Associates degree with an emphasis of computer information systems
• Preferred certifications; A , Net and/or MCDST

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform ticket based solutions for an in-house service desk
• Respond to requests for technical assistance via telephone or remote connectivity software
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
• Advise user on appropriate action – escalates to appropriate resources
• Logs all helpdesk activities through our ticketing system

IT Technician Requirements:

• Associate degree in computer science or 1-year related field.
• A , Linux , or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
